The Lesse + is a 2,300m³ trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD). This vessel, an upgrade of the original Lessee delivered in 2019, is designed to meet the latest IMO Tier III - Euro Stage V environmental standards.

About the Lesse +

The Lesse + is a trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD). This type of vessel is equipped with large suction pipes that trail along the seabed, allowing the ship to dredge sediment while in motion. The sediment is collected in a large onboard storage area known as the "hopper." TSHDs like the Lesse + are particularly well-suited for large-scale dredging projects, such as maintaining navigational channels, land reclamation, and harbor deepening, making them essential in modern maritime infrastructure development.
