Van der leun Vietnam organised the workshop 'Green Ship with Safety-Tech – Environmentally Friendly Ships with Safety Technology' for an enhusiastic group of professionals from the industry.
This event brought together leading names in the maritime and technology industries, including Van der Leun Vietnam, Consilium, Helkama Cable, and Navico Group, to explore and share advanced technological solutions aimed at sustainable and eco-friendly development.
The workshop not only attracted the attention of top shipbuilding units and design companies in Northern Vietnam but also created a forum for discussing current environmental trends and the latest technological strategies. It was an opportunity for experts and businesses to evaluate and acknowledge the progress made in the maritime industry.
At the event, Van der Leun Vietnam introduced an integrated fuel control system, a breakthrough green solution designed by the company’s leading engineers. This solution allows flexible fuel switching in hybrid ships, supporting the trend of hybrid shipbuilding and contributing to reducing environmental impact.
Consilium presented its fire alarm system and SMIC ship safety management system, along with a demo of a small-scale gas detection device for boats. These technologies not only enhance safety but also improve the operational efficiency of maritime vehicles.
Navico Group brought a green solution with demo devices from the Simrad and Czone brands, supporting the management of equipment systems on ships. These devices play a crucial role in optimizing operational efficiency and minimizing environmental impact.
Helkama Cable introduced an aluminum cable solution that reduces weight and costs for ships while ensuring quality. This is an important advancement, helping to design lighter and more cost-effective ships compared to older solutions.
The collaboration of units in the 'Green Ship with Safety-Tech' workshop not only shared new knowledge but also introduced green technology solutions from Europe, aiming for sustainable and environmentally friendly ship designs.
