For our new branch in Hamburg, we are looking for an enthusiastic Service and Commissioning Technician who wants to represent Van der Leun from this location in the region and beyond, and help shape the name Van der Leun.

As a Service and Commissioning Technician, you will independently perform commissioning, service, and maintenance work on electrical systems on board ships.
You will troubleshoot sensors, cabling, system cabinets, and other system components by replacing parts, making adjustments, repairing components, etc.
You will actively think along when problems arise and subsequently create service reports.
Additionally, you will commission new systems to be delivered, such as battery systems, hybrid systems (EMS), lifting, and propulsion systems. You will work in the fields of energy management (PMS and drives) and automation (AMS). You will also check cabling, sensors, and systems for proper operation and naturally identify and resolve faults.
Ships can be located anywhere in the world at the time of a malfunction. You are therefore always ready to board a plane to help the customer get back on course as quickly as possible. Most work will be carried out in the Hamburg area.
