As Sales Engineer of Maritime Installations, you calculate these electrical installations for maritime and offshore projects, which may include: main switchboards, emergency switchboards, shore connection boxes, lighting, telephone installations, emergency stop boxes, and cabling for maritime and offshore projects. Every project is different!
Among other things, Van der Leun supplies electrical installations for a wide range of ships, such as: ferries, hybrid ships, tugs, dredgers, crane vessels, fire-fighting boats, etc.
After developing the estimate, you discuss it with several colleagues, after which the quotation can be issued to the customer. When the offer becomes a contract, you are a crucial link to the project team. At the internal kick-off of the project, you present your estimate.

Depending on your experience, you will receive an attractive salary; as a junior this is between €2,600 and €3,500 gross per month based on full-time employment and as a senior this is between €3,600 and €4,500 gross per month based on full-time employment.
We operate under the Metal and Technology collective labor agreement. You are entitled to travel allowance, 25 vacation days, and 13 ADV days (additional leave days) for a full-time position. You will also be registered with the Pension Fund for Metal and Technology. We also offer a package of additional employee benefits such as various collective discounts on, for example, insurance and sports via the company. You will have access to a laptop. It is also possible to adjust your working hours and workplace to suit your needs.
Your own children can apply for a contribution to their study costs from our study fund. If you pursue further education or a course yourself, we will reimburse these costs according to our study cost regulations.
